Medical travel requires careful preparation, realistic planning and compliance with medical and immigration requirements.
The client travels only when considered fit by the treating provider. A flight, excursion or return journey may need to be delayed for medical reasons.
We support practical coordination but do not control border authorities, airlines, hotels, insurers or healthcare providers.
Passport and visa
The client checks validity, visa rules, entry conditions and length of stay. Support letters do not guarantee a visa or entry.
Insurance
Travel insurance should cover complications, extended stay, cancellation and repatriation; planned treatment may be excluded.
Medicines and companion
Carry medication in original packaging and relevant letters. A competent adult companion may be required for major procedures.
Flying and recovery
Follow the provider’s instructions regarding flying, driving, lifting, sport, sun, swimming and alcohol.
Accommodation and transfers
Included services are confirmed in writing; personal expenses and extra nights are usually excluded.
Complications and aftercare
Contact the provider immediately and arrange appropriate local follow-up after returning home.
